Expert Witness and Forensic Psychiatry
Dr. Brockett serves as a psychiatric expert witness in civil and criminal litigation. Medical-legal consultations are available exclusively upon attorney request and commence only after the execution of a signed agreement with legal counsel. He has been appointed as an expert witness in criminal cases at the Superior Court of California, San Diego, where he has served since 2016. He also holds an appointment as an Expert Reviewer for the Medical Board of California, conducting Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) and reviewing cases involving standards of care.
